The particular project we are raising for is Unicef’s Invisible Children, focusing on improving living conditons of youngsters in Romania, where over 300.000 are living in poverty.

 

Frequently they are not registered at birth; as a result access to health, education and other social services is limited. Sometimes they work to help support their families and frequently there is a risk of these children being vulnerable to abuse and neglect.

 

On 25th Sept, I will be cycling from St Malo to Lille in Northern France with 50 of my Visa Europe colleagues. The route will be covering 360 miles/580km over 4 days - all in aid of Unicef.

 

Since the first bike ride in 2009, we have managed to raise over £340k and every penny counts!

 

With Spain having slumped to 6th place in the Tour de France 2012, I am determined to put us back on the map of world cycling – and all for a good cause!
