Oliver's Back to Back Fan Dance

Back to Back Fan Dance · 10 January 2015
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the weekend of the 10/11 January I will be taking part in the Fandance race, twice. The event takes place in the Brecon Beacons, is used as part of the SAS selection marches, is 14.5 miles long (so 29 miles..), has 930m of elevation gain (so 1860m..), and involves 2 trips over Pen y Fan (so 4 trips..).
The first day I am doing the "Loadbearing" category, which involves carry around 17-18kg on my back and wearing boots. The second day I am doing the "Clean Fatigue" category, which has no minimal weight requirements, but should be considerably quicker.
I did the summer version of the Clean Fatigue event in 2014, and basically couldn't walk properly for a week after it, so this should be interesting!
It will definitely be the hardest thing I have done, physically and mentally, so any support you can spare to raise money for a great cause, would be much appreciated.
Thanks for taking the time to look!
Cheers, Oli
