Wow! How prophetic my choice of image was. If only I'd had some nice soft grass to pass out on.

It all got a bit nasty at mile 19 (leaving the Isle of Dogs) where I lost lots of time and a fair amount of dignity.

Fortunately I got going again and managed to haul my sodden carcass to the finish in five and a half hours. Not as quick as I'd hoped but glad to finish.
