We’re the National Deaf Children’s Society. We're the charity for deaf children with any level of hearing loss. Whatever the question or challenge, we’ll help find a way through. We believe in a world where anything is possible for deaf children.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This is the 100th Anniversary of the original Scott and Amundsen South Pole race. This event is the 2011 / 2012 Amundsen OMEGA 3 South Pole Race. It is an extreme endurance race covering over 430 nautical miles (495 statute miles) across one of the most desolate, dangerous and inhospitable places on earth.

Team 800's three main objectives are to win the race, enable one of the team to become the first deaf man to conquer both the North and South Poles and raise a significant amount of money for charity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
