UPDATE!!!
I did it! Of course I did! Never a doubt in my mind (apart from three days in when I'd only manages 200 miles total) i didn't do it in 11 days, I didn't have 11 days, I did it in a mere 9 1/2 days. I'm not certain of the mileage as my cycle computer broke after 112 miles and i couldn't fix it - it was in excess of 900 miles for certain, probably around the 950 mark by my reckoning. I will write up from some notes a day by day account and put it on my blog with some pictures of me looking thoroughly knackered and such.

Hello!
I am Oliver, I'm 25 years old and from Somerset, but currently living in London. I like cycling.
Thanks for coming to look at my fundraising page!
On December 13th 2008 I am getting a train from London to Wick in Scotland and then cycling on up past John O'Groats to Duncansby Head. I will then begin my 900+ mile trip south to Lands End. Most End to Ends seem to be undertaken in the summer months so I thought I'd make it extra challenging for myself by having to deal with much more cold, wet, windy weather...I'll be disappointed if I don't get some snow too - good times.
I'll be wild camping except for where my path might cross that of someone i know and a place to stay may be offered. I may take a night or two in a campsite also so I can shower. I've spent a few hours in the saddle so I'm not too worried about my fitness level but the cold is definitely going to pose a problem for me, I'm a bit of a baby when it comes to cold - therefore I will be arming myself with plenty of warm clothing in the run up to the ride!
I have set what I believe to be a modest fundraising target and all I ask is that you give whatever you can, no amount is too small, honest. If you can't afford to donate anything, don't worry, I know how tight money can be! It'd still be great if you could take a minute and read a little about the work of The Prostate Cancer Charity and learn about the most common cancer affecting men. Please tell your friends about my trip and maybe they can donate!
Thank you.
Oliver
