On 26th April 2009 and after 4 months of training through wind, rain and snow, I shall be joining about 25,000 other runners in the London Marathon. I am running in aid of Helen and Douglas House, a fantastic resource in Oxford which provides care, support and friendship for young people with life-shortening conditions. The Houses offer a warm and vibrant environment to help children, young adults and their families enjoy life to the full in incredibly difficult circumstances.
