Q:  What is the Born Free Foundation?

A:  Born Free is a wildlife charity, based in the UK, which works world-wide to save lives, stop cruelty and keep wildlife in the wild. 

Q:  What does it do?

A:  The Foundation protects wild animals in their natural habitat, helps people and wildlife live together without conflict and fights the exploitation of animals in zoos and circuses.

Q:  How does it do this?

A:  Born Free rescues individual animals from appalling captive conditions and gives them new lives at spacious sanctuaries.

Q:  What are the funds raised spent on?

A:  £5 pays for a first aid kit for gorilla rangers; £21 feeds a rescused lion for one week; £500 for vet expenses for one big cat rescue.
