I'm riding on THE FIREFLIES RIDE 2009..........The Fireflies Ride is a gruelling 1000 km cycle from Geneva to Cannes over 8 days taking in some spectacular mountain climbs in the French Alps..........The Fireflies Ride firstly in search of the rare native marmot, and secondly and quite frankly more importantly to raise money for the charity Leuka. Leuka is dedicated to raising money for the haematology unit at the Catherine Lewis Centre at the Hammersmith Hospital. The unit undertakes research into the causes and treatment of leukaemia - the model of all cancers.
