My name is Olivia Pickup, I am eight years old and I go to St Nicholas School in Shepperton. My daddy has been battling with cancer since I was six.
Every little girl loves to have pretty hair and I think it must be awful if, aswell as being unwell, you also lose all your hair.
I chose to help the charity because I love having long hair and wish these little girls to have it too! I have been growing my hair for this purpose for the last year and it is now nearly down to my waist. I love having it long but have decided that now is the time to have it cut and let someone else enjoy it!
I will have my hair cut in Shepperton on the last day on Spring Term - Friday 30th March 2012
It costs an average of £350 to make and fit each wig so that is my target for sponsorship.
