Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!
The couch potato from Epsom whose hobbies include food, drink and more food has managed to complete the 200km Arctic Dog Sled!!
In temperatures of up to minus 41! To make my challenge even harder I decided to fall off on day 2, dislocate my shoulder, get it put back in and then continue on the remainder of the challenge working pretty much one handed! If it had not been for the encouragement and help of my fellow travellers I may well have given up.
This has been the most amazing experience of my life, I have never felt so challenged nor so terrified and I have come back a different person. (One who needs help to get dressed in the morning!)
Thank you to everyone that has sponsored me and help raise so much money for the Myasthena Gravis Association. If anyone feels that a one handed dog sled was an even better completed challenge then please fell free to dontate more. ..
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Myasthenia Gravis Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please take the time to sponsor me and thank you!
