£15 is enough to provide 1 person with a lasting supply of safe water, sanitation and hygiene education.

£100 could pay for a hand-dug well providing water for 150 people in Nigeria

2008 is the official year for the United Nations International Year of Sanitation.

Saturday, 22nd March 2008 was also the United Nations World Water Day.

On Thursday, 27th March I swam 1 mile (64 lengths) at the Europa Pool in Birkenhead to raise as much money as I can to help support the WaterAid charity.
