Hello and thank you for visiting my fundraising page. 

In April I will be (hopefully) be completing a lifelong ambition for me, I am going to run the London Marathon.

Now, I am not the fittest, nor the fattest person ever to attempt this, but whatever way you look at this 26.2 miles is a pretty big challenge. Its a challenge that I am up for, and with your help I can achieve my two goals of raising £3000 for the FSI and finishing the marathon in under 4.5 hours!

The FSI are a great charity that help build long-term sustainability and capacity amongst small charities.  Small charities reach millions of people throughout the UK and beyond, but due to a lack of funding nearly 4,000 close their doors every year leaving hundreds of thousands without, sometimes vital, support. The FSI supported Through UNITY, a coalition of family members affected by Gun, Gang and Knife crime turning a £10 donation to the FSI into £18 of advice and learning for Through UNITY, which they in turn used to raise £50 to prevent violence and help families. You don't have to be a maths student to see that makes sense and lets small charities help themselves
