The Irish Cultural Centre Hammersmith opened its doors in 1995 as the premiere centre in the UK dedicated to the promotion and welfare of Irish art and culture abroad. We invite people of all backgrounds and cultures to participate in our core activities: culture, community, and education.

Story

Who would pay to see me thrown out of a plane... I'm going to be dropped from 10,000 feet with nothing but a rucksack with a cleverly packed bin liner all in the name of charity... I know, CRAZY!

I'm jumping for the Irish Cultural Centre in Hammersmith. My partner Kelly is the assistant manager at the centre and they have been faced with closure if they can't raise £1.5 million before March to buy the building from the council. Its all hands on deck to save the centre that provides a huge Education Programme, Children's Programme and Elders Programme. The centre is a place for all age groups and delivers an important back bone to the community... losing it is not an option.

If you fancy it or have the urge to donate to the cause please add some funds to this JustGiving website.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
