Story
Welcome friends of Ben Davies, Saul Clay, Henry Clay and Ben Clay to the 'One Big Cycle Ride' fundraising page!
We are a merry band of four (not very good) cyclists who are going to endure two weeks of cycling hell during August 2007. Our journey will start from John 'o' Groats in the far reaches of North Scotland in mid-August. Then after 14 days and 950 painful miles we'll reach the sunny shores of Land's End in Cornwall, hopefully still able to walk.
Why are we subjecting ourselves to this level of suffering you ask???
To raise money for Cancer Research UK - so please dig deep and sponsor us online.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
P.s. We are intending on travelling through Birmingham. We have all made a vow that should our bikes get nicked, we'll walk the rest of the way. You have our word on that.
Many thanks for your support.
Ben Clay, Henry Clay, Saul Clay & Ben Davies.

The journey was a success! On Sunday 26th August we reached Land's End after 991 miles of cycling over 14 days. It was a brilliant experience, although none of us will be rushing to jump on a bike again anytime soon!
We'd like to thank everyone that has made a donation to Cancer Research. Thank you for your support.
Ben, Henry, Saul & Ben.
