Our team at O'Neills Oxford feel very strongly that this is a brilliant charity for us to support, and so all proceeds raised over the St Patrick's week will go to the hospice. Monday 11th – Paddys Week Charity Quiz
Join us from 7pm to take part in our fun quiz for Charity. Its £2 per person to enter and all donations go to Helen and Douglas House Oxford. There will be some mighty prizes to keep you spinning the grey matter.
Tuesday 12th – Charity Football Tournament 6 –a-side
This event is in its second year and after our successful launch in 2012 we will be donating all proceeds to Helen and Douglas House. Its £50 to enter a team and we will be having an awards ceremony at the pub in the evening to honour the warriors of the pitch. This is for a great charity and we hope you will take part with us. Just contact Dean or Nikki at the pub to join our game before Friday 1st March.
Wednesday 13th – Charity Auction for Helen & Douglas House Oxford
At O’Neill’s the welcome is warm, the craic is mighty and you can enjoy pint or two of Guinness.
Join our Charity Auction at 8pm. We will be putting some serious gifts your way on the night to auction for, including a chance to bid for your very own personal bar server on a night of your choice, your wish will be their command, great fun and of course for charity.
Thursday 14th – Join the Jig Guinness World Record from 7pm
Every year we look at ways to celebrate our favourite event, St Patrick’s Day, while also trying to give something back to the local community. This year, which is the fourth year of O’Neill’s’ Join the Jig events, sees our first ever world record attempt and we really want the people of Oxford to join us to help smash the world record and have great fun at the same time. As well as great craic, we’ll be raising money during the event by selling our legendary St Patrick’s Day hats with all proceeds going to Helen & Douglas House.
Those wanting to take part should arrive at O’Neill’s Oxford from 7pm, with the Guinness World Record attempt beginning at 8pm sharp and lasting for 5 minutes! We’ll also be live-streaming the event on the O’Neill’s website.
Friday 15th – Thank Paddy its Friday !
We will make sure that your working week ends on a high before you embark on a weekend of great craic. Plan your weekend with your friends and there’s no better place to drill down the finer points than in O’Neill’s with a pint!
Saturday 16th – Six Nations Finale
This is the big one and you should join us all day to watch the nations slog it out with Pride and Passion. Who will win the 6 Nations this year. We will be serving the best food and drink all day and this is one really great reason to get you primed and ready for the Big Day itself.
And of course the St Patrick’s Day celebrations themselves, which start from 9.00am will include an Irish Breakfast for just £4.99 until midday and Paddy’s day, live music, dancing, dressing up face paints loads of craic, hats and pints of Guinness flowing with Live Irish Dancing Display at 3pm, Live music with Dan Walsh from 4pm to 6pm and an evening of top drawer live music entertainment with Rich McMahon from 7pm till late.
