Story

Pete Matthews was British Amateur Road Race Champion in 1968 and it still the national Champ in his over 65s age group. On October 2nd at Aintree Race course at 5.30pm Pete will attempt Chris Boardman's 1996 hour record of 56.375 Kms - but using only one leg at a time!

Thanks for all the support last night at Aintree. Peter Matthews is the first world record holder for the Hour one legged! And is distance for the hour was.... Well. That's a secret whilst everyone enjoys still betting on the exact distance. It will be announced in a week or so. Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice supports babies and infants with life limiting and life threatening conditions, and their families, from across the North West region. Our specialised hospice offers a home from home environment - where babies love to visit, and where families know that their child is safe.
