I completed the Great North Run in 2:42 and I can still feel every step. I know it's not a fast time but I was just glad to complete it. Maybe I will improve on that time next year.

On Saturday 1st May I rode the 31km Dragons Back trail on dressed as Mr Incredible. Click on the photos link to see more.

On 24th June 2009 my son was born. He had a difficult time during his birth and as a result has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. This life changing event has spurred me on to improve my health so that I can be the best dad I can be for my lad. I have tried various ways to get fit in the past but I have never set a goal, so this year I set quite a big goal - to get fit for a half marathon.

I'd just like to say a big thank you to everyone who sponsored me, I'll add the total from the off-line donations as soon as I have added it all up.
