Hello there!
On the 19th of July, at 0830 hours, 45 brave, young, hardcore, attractive, strong, hardcore, strong and attractive men will be setting out on a journey, to do their bit for Help For Heroes. We will be undertaking the arduous task of a one hundred mile, off-road, burdened march. The participants of the event range from ages of just fourteen, to fifty. The journey itself, a challenging and painstaking route for even the fittest of men, is made all the more difficult by the sheer weight of the bergen we will be carrying. Sixty five pounds. Take for instance your average bag of sugar, weighting 2 pounds. Imagine carrying THIRTY TWO of these on your back for five days! This is the average weight that an infantry soldier would carry on operation, and I can assure you, it is no easy load.
