WHY ORPHANS:

TheProphet (PBUH) said: "I and the caretaker of the orphan will enter Paradise together like this, raising (by way of illustration) his forefinger and middle finger jointly, leaving no space in between" [Sahih alBukhari]

So are you going to let this opportunity pass??

Orphans are the most vulnerable of society who are targeted physically, psychologically and religiously. It is the first and foremost responsibility of the Ummah as a whole to provide them with adequate protection from such elements. The greatest contribution to the most disadvantaged (orphans and poor) of society is to provide them with love, care and the light of knowledge as well as worldly skills to make them self-sufficient. so Kingston ISOC Sisters are raising money to sponsor orphans, with the view of continuing. InshaAllah.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT:

The purpose of the page is to reach out to those who are not particularly from our University but wish to be apart of this opportunity in gaining reward from Allah and helping our little orphan brothers and sisters around the world. Ummah Welfare Trust is a trusted charity that members at the KUISOC have worked with and know very well and we decided, instead of just sponsoring one or a few selected orphan children, we thought best to instead fill up the Orphans Funding Department, so that Ummah Welfare Trust can distribute the funds to the most needed orphans in any part of the world which their services reach. Places such as; Afghanistan, Somalia, Iraq, Albania, Burma, Pakistan, Bangledish, Sudan, India, Kashmir.

*We hope that you will join us in our indevure. Ummah Welfare Trust will endeavor to provide the orphans with the love and care they would have received from their parents if they were still present.

The Prophet (Peace be upon him) has said: 'The best house amongst the believers is the one in which an Orphan is treated well and the worst house amongst the believers is the one where an Orphan is mistreated.' (Ibn Maja).

BENEFITS & BLESSINGS OF YOUR CHARITY:
Reminding you of the blessings of spending for the Sake of Allah:

The likeness of those who spend for Allah’s sake is as the likeness of a grain of corn, it grows seven ears every single ear has a hundred grains, and Allah multiplies (increases the reward of) for whom He wills, and Allah is sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knower).” (Qur’an, 2:261)

“Those who (in charity) spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public have their reward with their Rabb (Your Lord and Sustainer). On them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve.” (Qur'an, 2:274)

“…that which you give for charity, seeking the Countenance of Allah, (will increase); it is those who will get a recompense multiplied.” (Qur’an, 30:39)

Only those who believe in Our Signs, who when they are recited to them fall down in adoration, and celebrate the praises of their Rabb (only God and Sustainer), nor are they (ever) puffed up with pride. They forsake their beds of sleep, the while they call on their Rabb (only God and Sustainer), in Fear and Hope. And they spend (in charity) out of the sustenance which We have bestowed on them. Now no person knows what delights of the eye are kept hidden (in reserve) for them -- as a reward for their (good) Deeds. Is then the man who believes no better than the man who is rebellious and wicked? Not equal are they. For those who believe and do righteous deeds are Gardens as hospitable Homes, for their (good) deeds.” (Qur'an, 32:15-19)

"For Muslim men and women, for believing men and women for devout men and women for true men and women, for men and women who are patient and constant, for men and women who humble themselves, for men and women who give in charity, for men and women who fast, for men and women who guard their chastity, and for men and women who engage much in Allah’s remembrance for them has Allah prepared forgiveness and great reward." (Qur’an, 33:35)

Sadaqah extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire.” (Ahmad, Tirmidhi)

The Prophet (SAW) also said: “The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his Sadaqah.” (Ahmad)

Only Allâh knows how many trials & calamities have been pushed away from us, our family and loved ones as a result of our sadaqâh(charity). Allâh knows how many times relief and ease has come to us due to the sadaqâh we gave. Therefore, give in the way of Allâh, as much as you can. Don’t leave any raised hands returned empty. Show Allâh that you love Him by spending from that which you love. Show Allâh [Exalted is He] that all these things mean nothing besides gaining His Pleasure.

Don’t look and remind yourself of what you have already spent in the past. If Allâh wills, He [swt] has accepted and written it for you. Now, think of how you can outdo that sadaqâh. Spend from what you love and Allâh will love you! So please dig deep and donate now.
