All funds are raised for the COINS Foundation, and because COINS sponsor all the expenses involved with the event, every penny you donate goes directly to the Foundation.
Three of the charities benefiting from the event this year are: Habitat for Humanity, CURE, and PEAS.
In the developing world, the average cost of all the materials and labour needed to build a typical Habitat for Humanity house is only £1,235. For the price of a decent laptop, you could transform the lives of a family currently living in poverty housing – forever.
The Beit Trust CURE International Hospital of Zambia is one of the few hospitals of in Zambia that will be able to adequately address the surgical needs of the disabled children in the country. The hospital also houses a chapel and spiritual centre, three operating theatres, an outpatient clinic, an administrative building and a general services building. Services at the hospital focus on pediatric orthopedics, neurosurgery and reconstructive plastic surgery.
Promoting Equality in African Schools (PEAS) is a rapidly growing charity that aims to widen access to education in Africa by founding and developing sustainable, low-fee secondary schools.
