Gavin is climbing Mt Everest for the fifth time this year and his continual work has helped many people in our country. Thanks to Moving Mountains our children now have a chance in life, but this all costs money!
My Everest Challenge - is open to everyone! The idea is that individuals who know Moving Mountains or any of our projects can get involved and set themselves their own personal challenge! It can be a run, sitting in a bath of beans, eating large amounts of Ugali - anything at all. Most importantly every single penny raised will go direct to the projects and people Moving Mountains supports and every single penny makes a huge and lasting difference!
In Kenya our challenge and a way that we can help to raise money is to climb Mt Kenya - our countries highest peak! There are four teams who plan to summit Mt Kenya the same time as Gavin summits Mt Everest :-

The four teams are all on Justgiving and through the site you can help us raise money for our children and also support Moving Mountains!
The challenge is probably greatest for OT (he's not allowed to use the truck), Maurice, Odongo and Everline as they have never climbed before!
Also the god that lives on Mt Kenya is not from their tribe! They are all in fear but we know that with good team work we will make it. Plus the driving force of helping Kenya's children through Moving Mountains!
