No this is not a joke...I'm already feeling slightly sick at the prospect of pouring myself into some lycra outfit and wading through god knows how much mud, fire, water etc etc.

It might seem like an odd choice of charity..but it's something close to my heart.  My grandad died from the disease back in the early 90s..I know he'd be proud of my idiotic acceptance of this challenge.

I'm aiming to complete the entire event...but the 10k run at the beginning is going to be tough in itself.  Perhaps people could sponsor me for the run...and then additionally sponsor me if I manage to complete any of the other nasty bits.
