Norwich 100 Mile Bike Ride · 8 May 2009

Fighting Barrett's Oesophagus and oesophageal cancer by maintaining the Barrett's Oesophagus registry (UKBOR), funding research and providing patient support. Early diagnosis and public awareness of Barrett's Oesophagus and oesophageal cancer will help stem the steady increase of deaths in the UK.

Story

Thanks for visiting my page.

I am doing this 100 mile bike ride in honour of my father in law, Bob Ramsay, who sadly passed away in March this year.  He had cancer of the oesophagus and I feel it is important to highlight how devastating and swift the onset of this disease is.  We knew nothing until just before Christmas.  I want to support the work of the Barrett Oesophagus Foundation as they are trying to publicise that this form of cancer is becoming increasingly common.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Barrett's Oesophagus Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
