As part of DLA Piper's global partnership with UNICEF, I am delighted to participate in the Global Fundraising Challenge which involves a nine day trek / climb through the Simien Mountains in Ethiopia, over 2nd -10th October this year. Our aim is to raise awareness and funds for the vital work UNICEF undertakes to protect children's rights across the world.
UNICEF's cause is worthy enough! But I will give you a few more reasons to donate - you may be tired of my bean counting ways and want a respite for all of 10 days! Or you hope I never return (I may forever continue the beautiful trek) or you wish to inflict some punishment (it is a gruelling trek). Pick your reason to send me away and an amount to match!
