My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Since I am reaching the big 40 this year I wanted to do something memorable, so I decided to walk the 152km West Highland Way for the LAM Action charity. My friend from Perth, Audrey Ferguson, has this disease and is the reason I chose this charity. Audrey received a life saving single lung transplant 6 months ago and is now doing well.

20 friends are walking with me and our training is well underway for this gruelling walk. This walk  will certainly test to see if our muscles are strong enough and we hope our feet can stand up to it too! We leave from Milngavie on the 20th April and hope to arrive in Fort William on the 24th April in one piece!

I really appreciate you sponsoring us as this is a very small charity but it is making big strides in terms of research and helping the patients and their families.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: LAM Action gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you so much for your donation.
