Hi Everyone,
I'm embarking on a 300km hike over 7 days to raise money for the East Africa Food Crisis.
Some time ago... a pregnant Mother Khadija walked for 30 days with her 2 year old daughter in search of food, water and a place to rest. At the end of her horrific journey, she survived and her daughter died. Why must this be allowed to go on in a world of surplus food?
3.7 million people (just under 50% of the population of London in mid-2010) like her are facing starvation daily, hour by hour, minute by minute.
They say "Evil reigns when good people do nothing". We are therefore called upon to act.
I will be walking a marathon a day in support of the Action against Hunger's work in the East Africa Food Crisis.
So please dig deep in support of this even if it's just a fiver.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
