Thank you for taking the time to visit this page in memory of Owen Harrington, a much loved Father, Husband and Friend.  Owen unfortunately lost his hard fought battle with bowel cancer on 9/11/10. His strength and determination to overcome this disease was admired by many. Throughout his many chemotherapy cycles, he never lost hope despite the numerous uncomfortable side effects. We are asking for donations to be made to bowel and cancer research in lieu of flowers, because this charity promotes awareness and research into this terrible disease. Hopefully earlier detection and more treatment options will ensure that many more lives are saved. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
