Following in the footsteps of many local professional and wannabe runners, Cambridge Network has entered a team into the 2015 Chariots of Fire charity relay race to raise money for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).

Claire Angus, Sarah Gleadell, Andrea Mitchell, Louise Rushworth and Joanna Shilton of Cambridge Network will be joined by team sponsor Joy Bemrose of Winning Workplace, to retrace the scenic route made famous by the 1981 film Chariots of Fire, through the streets and colleges of Cambridge, when the team of six will each run the 1.7 mile course in relay format.

Sarah has been in charge of encouraging and motivating the team with weekly training tips and running guidance all summer. Her last email to the team contained the following advice: “You will have good runs and bad runs. Accept it and don’t spend too much time analysing the how and why. Even a bad run is good for you.”
