Byte Night Thames Valley 2015 · 2 October 2015 ·

We protect and support children and young people, providing practical and emotional care and support. We ensure their voices are heard, and campaign to bring lasting improvements to their lives. Our vision is that every child and young person has a safe and happy childhood, and the foundations they need to thrive.

Story

Imagine a cold wet night, in a dangerous environment where no one even realises you exist. Every night you’re forced to take shelter underneath the closest shop doorway on St Mary’s Butt to shelter away from the storm.

This thankfully will never happen to most of us, however there are many young children who live an Oliver Twist lifestyle here in Reading. We at Jack FM Berkshire feel that strongly about this – we are prepared to give up our beds on the 2nd October 2015 and sleep rough for the night. We realise that something needs to be done, and we are the people to step up. Action for Children are a National charity who help the young and vulnerable and believe that this is an awesome charity to support.

Get behind us, support us, & donate to help make a difference to the future of those less fortunate than ourselves.

Byte Night is a national event taking place across a number of different locations throughout the UK to raise money for Action For Children.
