A BIG thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 27th September, I’m going to walk 26.2 miles (about 42 kilometres) at night through London. It's going to be a challenge but I can't wimp out or give up as there'll be no tube home at that time!

I've done some training - e.g. tried on my SHINE T-Shirt, practised eating lots of energy snacks and cleaned my trainers. I have also done a practice walk or two - and discovered that 26.2 miles is a lot further than I thought! Mild panic is setting in but your sponsorship could keep me going on the night.

Cancer has affected so many of my friends, family and colleagues; I am doing this walk for them and in memory of Adam and Lou, two very special friends and positive people, full of fun and plans - I miss them both and they will be giving me a kick up the backside every step of the way!

Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years.
