Hi Friends,

My father recently passed away from a devastating and debilitating disease that does not get the recognition and support it truly deserves.

Motor Neurone disease took my fathers Voice, strength and Pride away as well as everything else in the end. My dad was a very strong hardworking man that devoted his life to his family.

During June it is "silence speaks" Month for MND           My father lost his voice quite early on in his struggle with MND and the frustration he felt was awful to watch along with missing his voice and not being able to sit by his side to hear his wise words. Heart breaking....

I will be planning my silence on Friday June 19th...whilst at work as well as at home, I plan to stay silent for a minimum of 48 hours. I hope to continue my silence on Fathers Day in my Dads memory as I cannot be with him.
