Twelve months ago I was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer in my spine. While many men get prostate cancer in later life I was only 58 and as the cancer has spread it cannot be cured,  but it can be controlled for a period. I want to raise awareness about the disease and also donate as much money as I can raise for the research into the disease so that at some point in the future someone will not have to go through the same trauma as my family.
