Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In August 2019, I will be undertaking a huge personal challenge to ride to the very north of Norway to the Nordkapp, on my motorbike a trip of about 7000kms there and back. I will be riding through the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden and Denmark.I will be visiting the beautiful Lofoten Islands beyond the Arctic Circle.

This trip is in memory of my beloved partner who sadly passed away after a brave fight against Merkel Cell Carcinoma in July 2018 and who wanted to make the journey with me.

Merkel cell is an extremely aggressive and rare form of skin cancer and in spite of every conceivable treatment she received here in the Netherlands nothing could stop its advance.

I am making this trip for Sue, myself and to try to raise as much money as I can for cancer research in the hope that it helps the medical world try to beat this awful disease.
