Hi, 

Those of you who know me know that breast cancer is a plight that has hit my family hard over the years. Hopefully the money raised here will help other families to do what mine has luckily done thus far... We've survived, survived, and are currently beating it for the third & fourth time. By family, I mean my incredible mum. Her strength and bravery in the face of repeated diagnoses of multiple types of cancer (we are on diagnosis number 5 & 6 currently) never fails to amaze me. So, on to what we are doing...

With mum, I'm walking 5 miles in the Leeds Castle, Kent Pink Ribbonwalk to fundraise for Breast Cancer Care. This will be no mean feat, but nowhere near as challenging as facing a breast cancer diagnosis. Breast Cancer Care's mission is to make sure that no-one has to face their breast cancer diagnosis alone. The money we raise will help to fund specialist clinical and emotional support to help thousands of people find a way to live with, through and beyond breast cancer.
