I am the CEO of Focus Birmingham and I can honestly say the work we do for people facing sight loss in Birmingham is incredible, life changing, vital and we want to do even more but without necessary funds we will not be able to do so.

Let me tell you a little bit about Focus Birmingham;

Focus Birmingham supports visually impaired and disabled people, together with their carers, to live fulfilling and independent lives by providing services that reflect their wants and needs. The charity's day services teams work with adults from the age of 19 to deliver stimulating programmes of activities which are tailored to the needs of the individual. It specialises in working with people with visual impairment and other complex needs and providing appropriate support so that each person can achieve their full potential.

Focus Birmingham currently delivers residential care and support services from locations in Kings Norton (Selly Oak Road) and Erdington (Beech House). The service provides 24-hour care and support to adults who have a visual impairment, learning and physical disabilities and other associated complex needs.
Focus Birmingham's low vision centre provides a comprehensive range of services enabling people to use their vision to the greatest potential.
