This time it's personal.

I have selected this charity because endometriosis is something I have had, and might continue to have, for a long time. I was 'diagnosed' ( I hate that word ) with endometriosis a couple of months ago and although there are a few downers to the experience, it has primarily caused a positive spike in healthy eating and active living. 

I won't bore you all with the details but what most frustrates me is the lack of a known and tangible cause for this condition and , as a result, the lack of a 'quick fix' , or any fix for that matter, which will make it go away!

Endometriosis UK does great work in finding the answers to the many questions being asked around this condition and provides support to the millions (yes, millions) of women affected by it in the UK alone.
