Midnight Walk 2014 · 28 June 2014 ·

For over 35 years, St Luke’s has been providing free of charge specialist palliative care and support for people in mid & south Cheshire living with life limiting illnesses. Our support begins from the moment someone is diagnosed, through to palliative care and end of life care.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Midnight Walk is a 13 mile walk from Nantwich to Crewe and back,  on Sat 28 June to raise money for St Luke's Cheshire Hospice at Winsford. I have paid £17.50 to enter which covers all the costs for insurance, policing, stewarding, refreshments, provision of toilets(!) etc. So any sponsorship money goes directly to the Hospice.

I have visited the Hospice with the then Chairman, have met many of the staff, and strongly support their need to raise £6,500 a day to continue their work.

Many of my friends I meet face to face have already sponsored me in cash, but I would be very grateful for any other support you feel able to give.

Many thanks

Jean
