The Bhopal Medical Appeal funds two clinics giving free treatment to survivors of the 1984 Bhopal Disaster (the World’s worst industrial disaster). It also treats thousands of people who are being slowly poisoned by drinking water contaminated with chemicals never cleared-up from the disaster site.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I ran the Brighton marathon in  3h 39m 47s, which is a PB for me.  I was proud of this achievement.  I am equally proud to be fund raising for the Bhopal Medical Appeal.  The ongoing failure of the perpetrators of the toxic spill to restore health and dignity to the citizens of Bhopal is a stain on those involved.  A metaphorical stain with no fatal or physically deforming side effects, unlike those experienced by the victims of the Bhopal disaster.  How the corporations involved continue to deny responsibility is beyond belief.
