Story
This will be the 4th year I have taken part in the Walk for Myton and so far have managed to raise just under £ 1500 for the charity. I've set a relistic target of £ 300 but it would be great if I could get £ 500+ which would mean I've managed to raise £ 2000 over the 4 years.
Being as this year is a BIG Birthday for me I thought I should push myself that little bit further.
So I have decided to walk the 12 Mile Route TWICE - Yes 24 Mile
This will mean me starting extra early so I can complete the first 12 Mile route before most people have set out on their first walk. My plan is to walk the first 12 Mile route 'clockwise' walking through St. Nicolas Park into Leamington, out via Newbold Common to Offchurch and return back to Myton Hospice via Radford Semele and Leamington following the Grand Union Canal. I will then take part in a return 12 Mile walk 'Anti-Clockwise', revisiting the route I have already taken. So hopefully by about 14:00 I will have managed to complete my task!
Make my task that little bit easier and sponsor me. THANKS
At The Myton Hospices we believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; we focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option. We are leaders in compassionate end of life care; our work centres on our patients and involving them in decisions about their care. Perhaps most importantly we give them more quality time with their loved ones.Last year we supported more than 1,400 people and their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.
