<p><span style="color: #333399;">Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #333399;">We did it! We reached 498 runs in total and skiied our hardest all day! It was a tough 6 hours! We will continue to raise money until the end of June for this fantastic Charity. We hope to raise as much as possible.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #333399;">Yesterday, Tuesday May 17th, Rupert, Neil, Eve, Franki, Ellie and Harriet from The Oxford Ski Company took part part in the <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Disability Snowsport UK's National Skiathon!!</span></strong>&nbsp;<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">The challenge was to ski 666 runs in 6 hours at one of 6 UK indoor ski slopes. We chose the&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: #000080;">Sno!zone, Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire. We want to make a difference to those people less able than ourselves in doing something we all love and share a passion for - skiing!</span></p> <p><span style="color: #333399;"><strong><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Established in 1980 Disability Snowsport UK brings people living with disabilities the chance to experience the thrill and joy of skiing alongside, on an equal basis with, able-bodied helpers.&nbsp; The intention is to enhance quality of life for disabled people through fitness, mobility, freedom, social interaction and independence and also to identify and nurture potential athletes and help disabled people to conquer the barriers that confront them in daily life.
