On June 28th 2008 as part of Oxford Instruments support of the campaign to raise money for the Oxford Children’s Hospital, a team of 12 Walkers 2 Driver/Helpers from Oxford Instruments completed the National Three Peak Challenge in 23 hours 43 Minutes.
The Three Peaks Challenge, it is a continuous event which involves walking up the highest mountains in Wales (Snowdon), England (Scafell Pike) and Scotland (Ben Nevis).
From the start at the bridge at the base of Ben Nevis to the gate at the bottom of Snowdon at Pen Y Pas, the total walking distance is approx. 23miles (37km).Total driving distance is 1100 miles
