Hi there,
Firstly thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page - I hope that you'll help me reach (and with a bit of luck, beat) my target to get to Lesotho in September 2011 for 2 weeks.
My friends went last year and I was inspired to find out more and get involved. Since which, I have found out that Lesotho is one of the poorest countries in the world with an HIV prevalence of over 23% and has thousands of children orphaned by AIDS.
I will be educated and trained to help with HIV awareness sessions in local projects, orphanages and schools. Not only that, I will be given the opportunity to spend time and hopefully bring positivity and kindness to children who are unfairly deprived of these simple comforts through a number of local football matches, games and activities.
I really think it's an amazing cause and if so far you are in agreement then please show your support.
In the mean time, I will be doing a number of different initiatives to help reach my goal so look out for my facebook status', emails and texts. Please get involved with any that appeal to you. I promise it will be fun :-)
