Hello all,
WHY:
If you're wondering why I am scrounging for money off you; it's in aid of Home Start, a UK-based charity which helps struggling families, in difficult circumstances, who have no one else to turn to (see description bottom left).
I decided to cycle to Paris from London in aid of the above charity. The ride takes place over 4 days, starting the 9th - 13th September, and no, I won't be swimming the channel, just taking the ferry I'm afraid. There will be 130 of us, so a relatively small group. The cycle ride is over 500km and we will be traveling cross country; I will feel it on the last couple of days.
I do many cycle rides for charity, and never ask a penny from a lot of you, as I usually donate myself. However, this is the big one and I wanted to really go the extra mile to get some cash in, so please give something for my aching legs.
