Story

CHALLENGE COMPLETE!!!!!!!

Thanks to all who donated, and please keep them coming in!

Well done to all those who took part and completed the challenge, and thanks for all your help with donations....

As many of you know, last year we attempted the 3 peaks Challenge in 24hrs, and managed it with 20 minutes to spare.....

We have been racking our brains this year, and come to the conclusion that we should utilise the kit from last year and attempt to conquer Hadrians Wall.

Most poeple would take a week to complete it, but will shall attempt to walk end to end  in 80 Hrs.

This is an all terrain trek of 84 miles from one side of the country to the other. We will be camping on route  and will be hiking almost the distance of 4 marathons in 80 hrs.

Our team of 7 strong ( Richard Arnold, Dan Stokes, Paul Wells,  Andy Edwards, Bob, Paul Solari and Geoff Osgood ) will be heading north on 5th August, accompanined by our support team of 2 , Mick & Sue. More team pics to be added.

Photos of all team members are above. Please click the Photos link above,.

I will update the website with different pictures and info on a regular basis of training and team members.

This year we will be raising money for the National Autistic Society.

UPDATE OF NEWS ARTICLE

Autism is a severe developmental disorder that begins at birth or within the first two-and-a-half years of life. Most autistic children are perfectly normal in appearance, but spend their time engaged in puzzling and disturbing behaviors which are markedly different from those of typical children.

People with autism have said that the world, to them, is a mass of people, places and events which they struggle to make sense of, and which can cause them considerable anxiety. In particular, understanding and relating to other people, and taking part in everyday family and social life may be harder for them.

We appreciate all your donations, no matter what they are.............
