I'm taking part in the John O'Groats to Land’s End Cycle Ride starting August 10th to raise money for the Lola-Rose Foundation. The foundation was set up by John Greenbank and Hannah Gessey in loving memory of their baby Lola-Rose who was born sleeping in September 2012 and aims to raise awareness and funds for numerous charities associated with still birth and neonatal death in the UK.

There are 9 of us cycling 963 miles (or more depending on our navigation skills) including 49,870 feet of ascents over 9 days from 10-18 August 2013.  We'll be camping en route to add a touch of discomfort to an otherwise painful experience. 

So please dig deep for this worthwhile cause.  I'm paying all the trip costs myself (food/campsites/support team fuel/equipment etc) so all your donations will go to the foundation*
