My story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

We shall be paddling, all being well, 125 miles over the Easter weekend 2009 from Devizes in Wiltshire to the Houses of Parliament. This will be something of a challenge for a couple of desk jockeys, but what better motivation than to do it for Naomi House, a children's hospice based in Hampshire?

Naomi House provides care and support through the good days, difficult days and last days to children and their families from across the South.  Medical advances mean that many of the children who use Naomi House now require larger and more sophisticated  equipment. Jack's Place is now under construction and will meet this demand.  It takes a huge amount of personal and financial effort each year to run the hospice, with just 10% funding from the Government.

Please help us to support them.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. Naomi House Children’s Hospice (Wessex Children's Hospice Trust) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
