The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

The South Yorkshire Ability Counts League (S Yorks ACL) is a pan-disability football competition involving around 650 participants. You can read more about us at www.southyorkshireabilitycountsleague.com. Our participants range in age from Under-12 to adult; players are of any gender, and live with a range of disabilities-physical, educational and emotional.

They have one big thing in common; they love playing football, and are really good at it too.

Every Christmas, The S Yorks ACL embarks on a fundraising challenge targeted at a relevant charitable organisation. In previous years, these have included foodbanks and local hospitals. This year , our clubs have selected the National Autistic Society -www.autism.org.uk-as our Charity, and we'll be fundraising for them during our November and December matchdays.

Please help if you can. The National Autistic Society estimates that more than one in a hundred people in the UK are living with autism-that's more than 700,000 people. Remember, that's just an estimate..

Thank you for your support
