I have been in awe of the work of The Ark Cancer Charity for years especially the opening of the new Greenham Oncology Dept. Mr Rees told of the work they are doing to manage patients' well being during and after treatment. That was my eureka moment! I decided that for my 80th birthday next year I would do something that could make a difference and have wanted to wing walk for ages so I booked the flight and off to Rendcomb I will go (gulp!)

Your donation will help to provide therapies and support to local cancer patients, their families and loved ones as they travel the road to recovery. Wellbeing of the patient, their families and friends is a vital ingredient in the recovery process. Patients need support to aid recovery, give them their confidence back and to know that when the treatment stops they still have someone other than family and friends who has their back. They need the therapies and guidance during the treatment and feel safe in the knowledge that they will not have to wait for that much needed help care and advice.
