Shaving my head · 21 July 2024

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Hi my name is Ada and I am shaving my head to support MNDA. My reasons for fundraising are personal, last year my mum was diagnosed with MND and I want to try and help a cause that helps so many people while they live with this condition. In order to help support this charity, I intend to shave my hair off in July this year. My hair is a big part of my personality and it has a pretty big attitude problem so I am hoping that by sacrificing it I can make a difference and try and fight against the disease that is stealing my mum from me and my brother. The MND Association focus on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. By sponsoring me your money will help people affected by Motor Neurone Disease. I would also like to donate my hair to the Little Princess Trust.
