CoppaTrek! with Gi - Great Wall of China 2026 · 5 September 2026 to 13 September 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

This September, our fabulous CoppaFeel! trekkers will be taking on a 5 day trekking challenge on the Great Wall of China, all in the name of chest checking!

Story

This September I have been selected for the incredible opportunity to trek along the Great Wall of China with CoppaFeel. This trek allows me to finish off celebrating my mums year of 10 years cancer free by raising a huge sum and completing an incredibly difficult trek. This charity focuses on advocating and educating signs of breast cancer and my mums presentation of breast cancer was abnormal with dimples and bruising instead of the typical lump. Due to education and awareness produced by charity’s such as this she was empowered and advocated for herself allowing her diagnosis, treatment and ultimately survival.

The opportunity to raise money to give back to charities that allowed my mum to celebrate this unbelievable achievement and allow me to show a small sliver of the strength and bravery she showed. My mum is not only the best mum, daughter, wife she is kind caring and has committed her life to helping others. To give back to help others would be monumental and any help is hugely appreciated!

I have funded this trip for myself so every penny raised goes to this charity along with spreading the awareness not only around the UK but the globe.

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest.

We educate people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests regularly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves. We do this because when diagnosed early and accurately, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection truly can save lives.
